Easier said than done right!  Especially when you are paying for a pond service to manage your body of water.  Our Pond Champs techs are trained to handle a variety of pond growth.  Planktonic algae is a common pond algae that can come on very quickly and often occurs between our regularly scheduled visits.  Ponds are living ecosystems that when healthy will support life like planktonic algae.  Our service schedule is every 14-18 days and if you are concerned with the rate at which this type of algae is spreading contact our office and we can investigate the issue.

Get the most out of our pond service by following these tips:

  • Sign up at the start of the season.  Don’t wait until the pond is completely taken over with weeds and algae.
  • Keep a 15 foot perimeter around the pond that you Do Not fertilize.
  • Do Not mow or dump landscape clippings into the pond.
  • Always call us if you have concerns.
