Lakes are monitored by the Department of Natural Resources, unlike private bodies of water, such as ponds. Before we can treat your lake areas, we must first receive approval from the DNR for the products we plan on using.
After identifying your weeds and algae types, we submit an application regarding our findings and what products we intend to use. As long as we have approval, we can then move forward and schedule your lake treatment(s). Approval can take up to two weeks. DNR fees are included in with your treatment price.
Applications are not a necessary process for muck treatments, as this is not required by the DNR.
