What is the difference between our treatment packages? All three are based off a biweekly schedule from April through October.

Bronze is geared more for newly dug ponds that are not as likely to have significant growth. Because of this, this package includes only basic algae treatments, colorant, and biologicals. If you have a newer pond and need help with some minor mat-forming algae blooms to keep it in shape, this package would be good for you.

Silver is our most popular package. This includes both algae and weed treatments. If there is rip rap rock around the pond, we will treat any weeds that appear there as well (within 5 feet of shoreline). If you are looking for overall care of your pond, we would recommend Silver.

The Gold package is very similar to Silver, with some extra perks. This package also includes algae and weed treatments, and rip rap rock weeds (if present). From June 1 – end of August, the treatment schedule goes from bi-weekly to weekly treatments. Algae treatments include both non-resistant and resistant type algae. Resistant algae responds much better to frequent and a more aggressive treatment plan. If you have resistant algae, and/or you would like frequent treatment visits, the Gold plan might be a good fit.
